Conference Dinner

The BioMedEng18 conference dinner will take place on 6th September 2018 in the Queen's Tower Rooms at Imperial College and will be provided by the Imperial Venues' award-winning in-house caterers.  

 

Our confirmed after dinner speaker is Sophie Scott, a Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience and Wellcome Trust Senior Fellow. While exploring the neuroscience of speech and vocal behaviour, Sophie Scott stumbled upon a surprising second vocation: making audiences laugh as a stand-up comic. There will also be live band entertainment, a sumptuous three-course meal, a selection of wine and soft drinks, and tea & coffee.

Starters 

Duck and fig terrine, apricot and peach chutney and mixed leaf salad (GF)

Pan roasted guinea fowl, potato pureé, wilted spinach and mushroom velouté

Chocolate roulade with black cherry and kirsch cream
